Wishaw Country Sports is a charmingly rustic venue, located in Sutton Coldfield and the heart of the British countryside, and is perfect for your next corporate, society or charity event or dinner.
The hub of our activities is a beautifully converted Lodge Barn which has been lovingly renovated to create a beautiful space for corporate functions of all kinds.
Set on a 200 acre working arable and livestock farm it has been in the Mitchell family for three generations and dates back to the 1750’s, with many of the buildings enjoying listed status.

Catering For Every Function
With professional catering facilities on site we can offer a range of flexible options for your special occasion with food extending from traditional buffets and hot pulled pork buns to a full 3 course sit down carvery.
Seating for 80
Looking for a formal sit down meal? We can accommodate up to 80 guests for lunch or dinner.
Party for 110
Looking for something more informal? For parties we can host up to 110 guests.
Stocked Bar
Whatever the event, you'll not go thirsty with our fully stocked bar and help bar staff.
Music License
We are a fully licensed venue with a fully stocked bar, and our licence permits both live and recorded music.
Unique Barn Venue
The Lodge Barn can seat up to 80 guests for a formal sit down event or up to 110 for a more informal gathering. In addition to a fully stocked bar, Wishaw Country Sports can provide all wine, spirits and soft drinks at competitive rates and also provides all glassware and drink service.
With professional catering facilities on site we can also offer a range of flexible options for your corporate event with food extending from hot pulled pork buns to a full 3 course sit down carvery.
The Lodge also features a built in sound system and wireless microphones for speeches.
Corporate Events Venue Packages
We don’t offer set packages as we firmly believe that each corporate event or party is different from the next. Instead, we will arrange a one-to-one meeting with you where we can craft a bespoke plan for you that suits your needs.
Whether you’re looking for a sit-down meal or something more casual just ask and we can will do our best to make it happen. With space to cater for seated or casual dining guests, there’s an option to suit any corporate or charity event you are planning.
The Lodge is a versatile barn venue and is ideal for just about any event imaginable.
Venue Hire Features and Facilities
Our venue hire is managed by our team of event experts, with over 30 years of experience in organising and running private corporate events.
Our team will work with you both during the run-up to, and on the big day, suggest some musicians or entertainment and ensure that our bar is fully stocked to help your event go smoothly on the day or night.
Venue Hire Cost
The charges for hiring The Lodge cover everything except the costs of entertainment/decoration/services (photographer etc.) or catering/bar costs.
To secure any date we ask that you send us a completed booking form along with the below Venue Hire Fee. This is not redeemable against catering or other costs.
Until both the completed booking form and the correct payment is received the date remains free and available for other clients.
The Room Hire Fee can be paid either by cheque or by direct BACS transfer. Please make any cheques out to Wishaw Country Sports. If paying by BACS, make payments to Account No: 50284079, Sort Code: 40-63- 01 using the booking date as a reference.
Please send us the completed booking form with the correct payment via post, in person or via email if you are paying by BACS.
