Established over 30 years ago as a private function venue in Sutton Coldfield, Wishaw Country Sports has gained a strong reputation for home cooked food and a warm, welcoming environment.
Over the years we have accommodated all different types of parties, including birthday parties, wedding anniversary parties, office parties and more.
When it comes to parties we can accommodate up to 110 guests in the warmth and comfort of our two room converted barn. Our menus offer a wide range of home cooked food prepared fresh on site using (wherever possible) locally sourced ingredients.
Whether it’s a formal hot meal or a laid back finger buffet, there’s something for every occasion.
Seating for 80
Looking for a formal sit down meal? We can accommodate up to 80 guests for lunch or dinner.
Party for 110
Looking for something more informal? For parties we can host up to 110 guests.

Whatever the event, you'll not go thirsty with our fully stocked bar and help bar staff.
Music License
We are a fully licensed party venue with a fully stocked bar, and our licence permits both live and recorded music.

Our expert team work with you to deliver the highest standard of service, from ensuring every last detail is carefully and lovingly tended to in the lead up to the event to magnificent hand-carved roast dinners and buffets to keep you dancing all night long. Bespoke Party Venue Packages
We don’t offer set party venue packages as we firmly believe that each party is different from the next. Instead, we will arrange a one-to-one meeting with you where we can craft a bespoke plan for you that suits your party needs.
Whether you’re looking for a sit-down meal or something more casual just ask and we can will do our best to make it happen. With space to cater for 80 seated dining guests or 110 casual dining guests, there’s an option to suit any celebration.
We have full catering available for every occasion, to suit your style or theme.
If you would like something particular for your party or celebration, we are more than happy to accommodate any bespoke requests.

Venue Hire Features and Facilities
The car park at Wishaw Country Sports can easily accommodate all guests and with full access ramps to all rooms you can be assured that all guests including those with special needs will be tended to in the most professional and encompassing manner.
Our venue hire is managed by our team of event experts, with over 30 years of experience in organising and running birthday parties and celebrations in Sutton Coldfield.
Our team will work with you both during the run-up to, and on the big day, suggest some musicians or entertainment and ensure that our bar is fully stocked to help your event go smoothly on the day or night.
Venue Hire Cost
The charges for hiring The Lodge cover everything except the costs of entertainment/decoration/services (photographer etc.) or catering/bar costs.
To secure any date we ask that you send us a completed booking form along with the below Venue Hire Fee. This is not redeemable against catering or other costs.
Until both the completed booking form and the correct payment is received the date remains free and available for other clients.
The Room Hire Fee can be paid either by cheque or by direct BACS transfer. Please make any cheques out to Wishaw Country Sports. If paying by BACS, make payments to Account No: 50284079, Sort Code: 40-63- 01 using the booking date as a reference.
Please send us the completed booking form with the correct payment via post, in person or via email if you are paying by BACS.
